Introduction
Dr. Briana Perkins is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in North Carolina. She is also a certified Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) practitioner, a Natural Lifemanship Certified Counselor (NLC-C) and a doctoral graduate from the University of the Cumberlands (PhD in Leadership and Counselor Education and Supervision).
Dr. Perkins completed a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Development at Winthrop University in 2015. Prior to Winthrop University, Perkins completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Saint Bonaventure University in 2013.
She has been counseling using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, walk/talk therapy and traditional counseling since 2014 working with a variety of issues ranging from trauma to depression in both adults and children.
